About the Project

Tipalti has developed an intuitive and easy-to-use web platform for funds and payment management. Its core feature is accounts payable automation, an often complex and time-consuming function in businesses. In addition to this core functionality, it also handles high-volume payments and international payments, and as it is designed for companies all over the world, the solution has multi-language and multi-currency support. Easy-to-use tools for gathering and analyzing information about payments, payment receivers, accounts, taxes, etc., are also provided.

With their always-on cloud-based platform, customers can easily integrate with other systems and let users access their data 24/7 from any device and from anywhere in the world. A built-in compliance engine helps businesses adopt and adhere to local tax laws and regulations, and the sophisticated fraud detection and prevention features protect against fraudulent vendors and payments.

The Devico team has been responsible for ensuring the high quality of the developed solution through the design of a robust testing strategy, the required testing documentation as well as established a scalable and efficient QA process ensuring the quality of every new feature.

Our QA engineers also contribute to streamlining the overall development workflow, which enables Tipalti to release software updates 25 times a year.

With no room for errors, the QA process delivers thorough testing of each new feature in several stages. Initially, the QA team creates detailed test scenarios and end-to-end test cases. These tests are thoroughly executed to ensure that the software functions as expected. Once these initial tests are complete, the software undergoes a second level of quality control through sanity and regression testing, with the latter automated to speed up the whole QA process and ensure timely releases.

Testing is executed in a separate, dedicated testing environment to minimize the risk of errors and ensure high-quality operation. Only after the successful execution of these rigorous tests, is the software released to the production meeting the highest standards of quality and performance to delight customers.

Our flexible collaboration model with Tipalti allows us to provide additional QA resources to ramp up the core QA team when required. Our streamlined QA process and the availability of all the necessary documentation make it easy to onboard new team members quickly. From time to time, we have up to 20 QA specialists working on the project, and our experts provide thorough onboarding and mentoring for specialists joining the project.
